Nevada Privada is a hybrid that is a pet project of Alphakronik Genes breeder, Jay Roller. It is his goal to breed a structurally stronger version of the Snowdawg line using Afghani genetics, and this is the first go-around with the experiment. The Spanish term “Nevada Privada” translates into “Private Snow” in English, and this is one cross you’ll keep near and dear. With bud structures ranging from golf ball sized all the way up to forearms, the Nevada Privada has sweet flavors galore, with very skunky undertones and the classic Sin City Kush finish. Most phenotypes in this cross will change colors ranging from red, purple, and blues, to vivid green/yellow combinations.
This hybrid has been shown to help relieve the symptoms of AIDS (Wasting), Cancer treatments, Gastrointestinal Disorders (Crohn’s, IBS, Colitis), Generalized Pain, and migraine headaches.
This hybrid likes to grow in tall spears, we relatively strong stalks. Lollypop training (Taking off the lowers early in veg and in flower) seem to create the strongest plants, and it prefers lots of Nitrogen early on in flower. Back off at about week 6 to see the yield and flavors increase.
Hybrid Name: Nevada Privada

How have indica strains adapted to the cold environmental conditions?
The tight, compact buds of indica strains are more than just attractive—they protect against the cold. This compact bud structure keeps cold, damp air out, preventing mould and keeping plants healthy in cold weather.
How do regular seeds help with cannabis diversity?
The huge variety of phenotypes created by regular seeds makes them a very interesting choice! These seeds are necessary to give cannabis its genetic diversity which helps it adapt and thrive in a range of situations.
How do Central American and Caribbean strains adapt to their climate?
These strains thrive in humid and tropical Central American and Caribbean settings. They resist pests and moulds common in these environments, making them useful for breeding programmes to improve cannabis disease resistance.
How varied are skunky cannabis strains?
Due to considerable cross-breeding with Skunk #1, skunky strains are genetically diverse. This cross-breeding has produced many hybrids with varied skunk aromas and effects.
What's the deal with spectral sensitivity in 12/12 photoperiod strains?
It's fascinating to know that 12/12 photoperiod strains may have a favourite colour! Changing the light spectrum during blooming can apparently boost cannabinoid and terpene production, increasing both quality and yield.
