Narkush is a pure indica F1 Kush strain resulting from the crossing of two different plants from the Hindu Kush mountains which border Pakistan and Afghanistan. This region is considered to be one of the "homes" of cannabis indica. Although it can be cultivated both indoors and outdoors it does have a susceptibility to mould spores and therefore a close eye and good air circulation is needed during the flowering phase and indoors some filtration is also recommended due to its smell. Its compact columnar structure makes this a good choice for Sea of Green (SoG) set-ups.
Narkush grows very broad, dark green leaves as befits its pure indica genetic heritage. When grown in good conditions resin glands will develop all over the plant including the shade leaves and even stems. Like many indica strains it can produce plenty of high quality resin for hash-making. It was named Narkush to reflect the fact that it has a very heavy, narcotic effect that makes it very useful to help combat insomnia with its very heavy body-stone effect that enables complete relaxation.
Strain FAQ
Hindu Kush has what cultural significance?
Beyond its potency, Hindu Kush embodies old cannabis customs, a living testimony to the plant's rich history. It reminds cannabis fans of the plant's long heritage with its pure indica roots and historical and geographical important.
What are the advantages of Indica strains?
Indica strains flower faster than Sativas, making them ideal for legal growers in a hurry! Indicas, ready in 8–10 weeks, allow for numerous harvests per year, keeping the cycle flowing with less effort.
How do strains ready for harvest by mid-October handle environmental stress?
These cannabis types are said to resist temperature and moisture changes well. Their toughness evolved to help them survive in their native, sometimes changing climates.
How varied are mold-resistant cannabis strains?
Besides mould resistance, these strains vary in THC and CBD levels, flavour profiles, and impacts. This ensures a variety of mould-resistant strains for every possible preference.
What does hybrid cannabis strain phenotypic variation mean?
Individual plants in a hybrid strain can vary in colour, height, and bud structure. Breeders can improve and stabilise desired traits by selecting certain phenotypes and thereby improve the strain.
