Dutch Passion goes all the way back to the early 1970s when a Dutchman called Henk Van Dalen started growing cannabis for himself. Becoming a trained biologist encouraged him even further and gave him the tools he needed to really push his craft onwards and by the 1980s he was supplying seeds to a large number of European seed growers. He was particularly well respected for creating the Passion #1 strain which was the strongest of the time at about 18%. By 1987 the demand became high enough for him to go all in and Dutch Passion was born.
