Bred by Paradise Seeds in 1994, and improved in 2002, Dutch Dragon is a huge Sativa variety that produces superb yields from long sticky colas. The aroma is very citrusy and sweet, like tangerines, as is the taste. The buzz is a lasting, clear high that increases an appetite for music and pleasure.
Dutch Dragon, with her South African heritage, performs best in warm climates. She grows into a tall plant with smallish fan shaped leaves and thick fox-tail buds. A sea of green flowering cycle can be started early because Dutch Dragon is a fast vigorous plant with typical sativa growth pattern. Indoors, height may need to be considered in your grow space, and be controlled by flowering early. For best results the pH of the water with fertilizer should be kept below 6.
Though fast out the gate, Dutch will take nine to ten weeks to develop big, fully matured flowers. When grown outside mid October is the favorable for harvesting this dragon who can get as tall as 9 feet (3 meters) tall. She will stretch up to almost three feet (80-90 cm) if grown using the sea of green technique.

Strain FAQ
What helps tall cannabis strains survive in different climates?
Their exceptional height and structural design let them adapt to temperate and tropical regions. Tall strains are reportedly ideal for sunny outdoor spots since they absorb the most sunlight.
Does season effect a strain's orangeyness?
Interestingly, yes it does! Seasonal light can reportedly affect a plant's Limonene production and tanginess, even under stable conditions.
What's the quality of single cannabis seeds like?
Our Single Cannabis Seeds are about quality and variety! All of the single seeds we sell are from expert breeders who guarantee genetic integrity and viability. This ensures that each little capsule of potential has a high chance of success!
Are these early-finishing cannabis strains culturally or historically significant?
Absolutely. Many mid-October strains have been grown for generations in some places and have cultural and historical relevance. Many are named after either their origin or unique qualities from their natural environment.
How have African and Middle Eastern genetics influenced modern hybrid strains?
Modern breeding programmes have improved cannabis' resilience, potency, and cannabinoid and terpene profiles by using these genetics. Cannabis strains are more diverse and enhanced because of this influence.
