Conscious Genetics

Conscious Genetics is a new seedbank to us here in Seed City but they have been breeding for around 7 years and started with their flagship strain "Conscious Kush V1". This strain consists of a selection of their favourite international strains and can be accurately described as a fusion of Sunset Sherbet x Orange Diesel X Blue Cookies x Guard Dawg. Originally Conscious Genetics concentrated on improving the lack of terpenes that are commonly found in purple cannabis strains by creating a range of terp-heavy rare purple genetics with a USA-based breeder called Annunaki Genetics.

After a long period of working with Annunaki Genetics and searching for the perfect purple strain to use as the basis for their next cannabis creations they eventually decided on Huckleberry Soda F2 and Pink Lemonade V2. Both of these strains provide the deep purple hue that Concscious Genetics are after and after creating some new phenotypes from pollinating these strains with a Huckleberry Soda F2 male, they then used the resulting phenotypes to create the "Conscious Kush V1 reversal line".

Conscious Genetics then worked on backcrossing the finest results with their Conscious Kush V1 line to create bx1 and bx2 variants. After receiving a fantastic cut of Sour Apple Runtz from a close friend, with THC levels showing close to 30%, they knew they needed to include this in their increasingly fine genetics and so bred this strain with the Conscious Kush V1 line to create a Sour Apple Runtz line of strains which they say is a "brilliant line for extractors due to its high extraction yields."

Conscious Genetics has continued working on their great range of cannabis strains, both by adding more terps into the purple genetics and perfecting certain traits within their other strains. Their latest creations come from the Pink Champagne bx1 reversal line and have everything they have been working towards. With a solid purple colour, a heavy resin production, dense buds and a great vigorous structure. Conscious Genetics like to say that they have achieved their goal of "adding terps to the purps" and this can easily be seen by the super terp-rich and frosty varieties that they now have to offer.

Conscious Genetics like to say that they are only just beginning and with each drop their available strains will only get better. They say that their strains have everything a grower could ask for, with terps, purps, density, yield, structure, power and bag appeal.
