Capulator Seeds

Capulator Seeds are one of those breeders where a single creation would have been enough to secure their place in cannabis history. In this case that strain is MAC — Miracle Alien Cookies, but there’s considerably more to Capulator than just one famous name!

Capulator has been growing since the mid-1990s, starting with Northern Lights genetics before gradually collecting classics such as Big Bud, Skunk #1, Jack Herer, AK47, Blueberry and Sour Diesel. By the early 2010s he’d become heavily involved in the old online cannabis forums, building a reputation for sharing knowledge and eventually gaining access to some extremely desirable genetics from other respected breeders.

Then came MAC. Capulator crossed an Alien Cookies F2 #7 female with a male known as Miracle 15, itself descended from Starfighter and Colombian genetics. Miracle 15 earned its name after the original seeds accidentally went through the washing machine and, although several initially germinated afterwards, number 15 was the only one to survive! That unlikely survivor went on to become the father of one of the most influential modern cannabis hybrids around.

The famous MAC 1 selection emerged from those original MAC seeds and became hugely sought-after for its exceptional resin production, distinctive structure and complex creamy, fruity, sour and gaseous terpene profile. Capulator was initially extremely selective about who received the clone, preferring to share it with people he respected within the cannabis community rather than simply letting it spread everywhere immediately.

What we particularly like about Capulator is that he hasn’t simply spent the following decade endlessly repackaging MAC. His catalogue has continued developing with genetics including MAC V2, Miracle Baby, Black Pine Reserve, Lion Strength S1, Lions Tooth, Wookie Strength, Gogurtz and Strawberry Pines, while the original Alien Cookies #7 genetics are still represented too.

Capulator also says that his crosses are tested in his own garden before he’s comfortable putting his name to them, which probably explains why the brand has managed to retain such a strong reputation despite all the hype surrounding MAC.
