Description
Gelonade from Sweet Seeds puts two modern Californian names together: Lemon Tree and Gelato #41. It is available as feminised seeds and has a balanced 50% indica and 50% sativa genetic make-up, so it’s not a one-note plant in either direction.
The parentage is a big part of the appeal here. Lemon Tree and Gelato #41 are both described by Sweet Seeds as Californian lines known for potency, aroma quality and resin production, with international award-winning reputations behind them. Gelonade was released by Sweet Seeds in January 2026, so it’s a newer addition built around that modern citrus, dessert and fuel profile.
THC is listed at 20–26%, with around 0.1% CBD. The effect is described as potent, euphoric and clear-headed, with a stimulating feel that suits daytime use. Sweet Seeds also notes a creative, happy edge, so this is aimed at people who like strength without a heavy, dull finish.
Citrus cream, Diesel and dense resin
The aroma leads with fresh lemon. Behind that is a sweet cream note that softens the sharper citrus, plus earthy hints and a Diesel background for a bit more bite. It’s a tidy profile if you like bright lemon strains but still want some creamy Gelato weight and fuel in the mix.
Gelonade also has strong resin appeal. Plants form thick, dense buds with plenty of crystalline trichomes, and Sweet Seeds points to its suitability for extractions. In cooler climates, flowering plants can show lime-green tones with soft purple touches, adding a bit of colour without moving away from the main resin-led character.
Plant shape and production
In growth, Gelonade is described as vigorous and highly branched, with a balanced hybrid structure. The lateral branching supports large, compact buds along the plant, with good airflow and light distribution through flowering. Indoor flowering time is listed at 8 weeks.
Yields are given at 500–600 g/m² indoors under artificial lighting. Outdoors, with plenty of sun, suitable soil and nutrition, Sweet Seeds lists 400–600 g per plant. The combination of dense flowers, high trichome coverage and a lemon-cream terpene profile makes Gelonade a good fit for collectors drawn to newer Californian-style genetics with a functional, upbeat effect.
