The fourth variety of our Originals Collection is a daughter of Nicole and of our collaboration with Marimberos. To obtain Nicole Kush for The Plant we have crossed a specimen of OG Kush, one of the favourites of our gene bank. Its structure is very robust and elongated; this indica is essential in the catalogue of any good "connoisseur". With dense flowers full of trichomes it offers a spectacular yield. It is optimal for outdoor cultivation since it requires very little maintenance and is a lover of the sun, although it is also good for growing indoors and in greenhouses.
Its flavours mix grapes with earthy tones, and its very pleasant musky smell is reminiscent of different fruits. Although it is predominantly indica, its sativa phenotypes produce a euphoric and tendency to laughter effect. At a therapeutic level it is ideal to help the loss of appetite and very suitable for cases of insomnia.
Strain FAQ
What allows Fruity tasting strains to create so many fruit flavours?
The unique combination of terpenes in each strain may be balanced to highlight citrus zest, berries, and tropical fruits. Diversity in genetics provides a wide range of flavour experiences!
The impact of OG Kush on popular culture
OG Kush has become a cultural symbol in music, cinema, and TV. Its association with cannabis culture, especially in California, shows its impact beyond the norm.
Can greenhouse cannabis strains create microclimates?
Fascinatingly it is reported that some strains adjust their greenhouse environment to suit them. This ability to adapt to microclimates can reportedly produce distinctive plant qualities like bright colours and bud structures. There are those that say that a greenhouse can bring out the best in cannabis.
Why are hybrid cannabis strains created?
Hybrid strains are often created to improve flavour, THC/CBD ratios, or relaxation or energy effects. Hybrid cannabis allows for a variety of strains to suit different tastes and needs.
Do 12/12 photoperiod strains have an edge in terpene profiles?
Sometimes, a little stress goes a long way, especially when it comes to pumping up the terpenes in 12/12 photoperiod strains. The stringent light schedule can stress the plants just enough to kick their flavor and aroma profile up a notch!
