Description
Lemon Cherry Mochi from Growers Choice is a dessert-style cultivar with plenty of citrus, cherry and gelato character. It’s available as feminised seeds and comes from Sunset Sherbet x Girl Scout Cookies, a pairing known here for sweet flavour, creamy depth and modern resin-heavy flowers.
The genetics are listed as 60% indica and 40% sativa, so it keeps a balanced feel rather than going fully one way. THC is given at 27–30%, with low CBD. That puts Lemon Cherry Mochi in the stronger end of the catalogue, with effects described as uplifting and euphoric at first before settling into a deeper body relaxation. It’s aimed more at evening use, creative downtime or unwinding than a flat, heavy couchlock.
The flavour is the bit that really sells the name. Expect bright lemon zest, sour cherry candy and creamy gelato on the nose, with touches of vanilla, red fruit and soft gas underneath. On the exhale it moves through sweet-sour citrus, cherry sherbet and cold creamy notes. The supplied flavour notes are cherry, lemon and sherbet, but there’s more going on than a simple fruit profile.
In the grow room, Lemon Cherry Mochi has a classic dessert-hybrid shape: medium height, strong branching and dense buds with a heavy frost. Plants are listed at 80–120 cm indoors and 100–180 cm outdoors. Late in flower, the buds can show pink, red or dark-purple accents, adding to its appeal for growers who like colourful, resinous plants as well as loud terpenes.
Indoor flowering time is around 9 weeks. Outdoors, harvest is given for end of September to early October, with listed outdoor yields of 600–750 grams per plant. Mold resistance is described as average, and the recommended climate is medium hot. Resin production is highlighted as exceptional, making this one especially interesting for growers who value frosty flowers, hash potential and strong bag appeal.
