Humboldt Seed Company was started by a group of biologists in Humboldt, California in 2011 and they've built up a great reputation for combining traditional breeding methods with the best of modern science. Initially they were mostly interested in the medical market due to the legalisation of medicinal marijuana there but with increased legalisation they were able to move into the recreational seed market.
They're obviously very talented and are responsible for what are known as High-THC Triploid cannabis seeds which are essentially strains with three copies of chromosomes. This results in seed-less plants with an increased yield, THC levels and resin yield. Even outside of this, their range of over 75 strains contain a lot of really great choices like Vanilla Frosting, Jelly Donutz and Garlic Budder.
