Caribbean Queen is a pure sativa landrace-style line with a bright, energetic character rather than a heavy, sleepy one. Humboldt Seed Company offers it as feminised seeds, with a photoperiod flowering cycle and a shorter indoor bloom time than many traditional landrace sativas.

The genetics are listed as “Pure Sativa” aka Caribbean Queen x Stoopid Fruits x Humboldt Dream. The line was selected in collaboration with Dr. Machel Emmanuel and the Rastafarian Church of Antigua and Barbuda, then worked through an initial outcross followed by backcrossing and selection. The aim was to keep the island sativa feel while improving vigour, stability and disease resistance.

That background matters because Caribbean Queen is not described as a compact, indica-style plant. It carries classic sativa traits: elegant structure, strong vertical growth and plenty of vigour. Indoors it wants enough height and sensible management, with good airflow and support recommended. Training can help control the stretch and improve light penetration, so it is better suited to growers who are comfortable shaping a plant rather than simply letting it do everything on its own.

Flowering is around 60 days indoors, which is quick for a pure sativa landrace strain. Outdoors, harvest is given as October 1st to October 10th. Yields are described as medium indoors and outdoors, and the plant is noted for natural disease resistance and an ability to adapt to different growing environments. It can be grown in soil or hydroponic systems, with warm, sunny outdoor conditions being the most natural fit.

The flavour and aroma are led by tropical fruit with a warm spicy edge. Expect sweet, exotic fruit notes first, followed by spice that gives the profile a bit more depth than a simple fruit-only sativa.
