Description
Apple OG is Pure Instinto’s indica-dominant cross of Kosher Kush x MK-13 (G-13 x OG Kush), sold as feminised seeds. It keeps the OG/Kush side close to the surface, but with a sharper fruit note: a citrus aroma reminiscent of sour apples, alongside lemon, gas, mint and broader citrus tones.
The cannabinoid headline is straightforward: THC is listed at 25%. Pure Instinto describes the effect as strong from both its sativa and indica sides, with an upbeat, euphoric and happy start that can settle into relaxation. That makes the description less one-note than a simple heavy indica, though the overall plant type is still given as hybrid/indica dominant.
In the grow room, Apple OG is presented as an easy, stable hybrid with a controlled flowering period, so it should appeal to newer growers as well as more experienced hands who want something fruity, resinous and manageable. It has an indica-style structure and stays relatively compact indoors, not exceeding 1.50 m. Lower branches can be pruned without issue in SOG crops.
Flowering time is 58–63 days. During bloom it produces very compact buds with a shiny resin coating, and Pure Instinto points to this resin production as making Apple OG suitable for extractions. It can be grown indoors or outdoors, with yields listed at 350–400 g/m² indoors and up to 600 g per plant outdoors.
Apple OG is a good fit if you like strong fruity genetics but still want that Kush-linked gas and weight in the background. The sour apple citrus character is the standout, backed by compact growth, resin-heavy flowers and a fairly quick finish for an indica-dominant photoperiod variety.
