Description
Shiskaberry from Pure Instinto is a heavily indica-dominant photoperiod variety with a sweet fruit profile, solid resin production and a body-heavy finish. It is available as feminised seeds, with parentage given as (Blueberry DJ Short x Afghani) x C99.
The flavour is a big part of the appeal here. Expect sweet berries and tropical fruit, with a fruit-juice aroma that can show strawberry and pineapple clearly. Some phenotypes add a light earthy note underneath. Myrcene is the named terpene, and the overall profile stays on the sweet, berry and tropical-fruit side rather than becoming sharp or gassy.
THC is 18–21%. The effect starts brighter than the plant’s indica-heavy build might suggest, with an uplifting, euphoric and clearer-headed high that can bring a short spell of focus. As it settles, the heavier side takes over. The body relaxation becomes deeper, the feeling gets weightier, and the finish can be strongly sedating with couch-lock. This is not presented as a light daytime option.
In the grow room, Shiskaberry has strong vegetative vigour, good internodal distance and plenty of branching during the first weeks of flowering. It stretches in a contained way and can form a squat, compact bush, reaching around 120 cm. Pure Instinto recommends good pruning and proper rooting to get the best from its structure.
Flowering time is 60–65 days. Under good conditions, the flowers become large and tight, with purplish colour, fruity aromas and a shiny resin layer. Leaf production is good, and the resin output is one of the reasons this variety is noted as suitable for making quality home extractions.
Yields are 450–500 g/m² indoors and 400–850 g per plant outdoors. Shiskaberry can be grown indoors or outdoors, has reported mould resistance, and is said to do especially well in dry, temperate climates. Pure Instinto presents it as approachable for less experienced growers, while still giving indica fans the sweetness, resin and heavy relaxation they are likely coming here for.
