ShotGun Auto is Pure Instinto’s autoflowering take on the popular AK-47 family, made from AK-47 x PI selected ruderalis. It’s available as feminised autoflowering seeds, so it’s aimed at growers who want that well-known AK-style character in a quicker, simpler automatic format.

The plant stays short, as expected from an auto, but it’s described as having thick stems that help carry its abundant, large buds. Pure Instinto puts the full cycle at 8–9 weeks from seed, with indoor yields around 400–500 g/m². Indoors it likes plenty of light, with the breeder recommending around 18 hours a day.

Outdoors, ShotGun Auto is best suited to Mediterranean-style conditions where it can make the most of strong sun. The breeder also advises caution with humidity, as this variety can be sensitive to mould problems. Outdoor production is listed at up to 100 g per plant.

Aroma and flavour are a strong part of the appeal here. Expect a refreshing, intense profile with sweet, earthy notes on the palate, plus smaller floral and woody touches. The listed terpene profile highlights limonene, while the broader aromatic description includes sweet, fruity and pungent elements.

ShotGun Auto is listed as an indica/sativa type and has a reported THC content of 21–23%. The effect is described as happy, creative and stimulating for the mind, with a lighter body feel that can become gently sedative.
