Description
Wedding Cake from Pure Instinto is an indica-dominant Triangle Kush x Animal Mints cross, offered here as feminised seeds. It’s a strong, flavour-led photoperiod variety with a heavy relaxing finish and THC listed at 28–32%, so it’s better suited to customers who already know they get on well with high-potency cannabis.
The parentage is a big part of the appeal. Triangle Kush gives the line a proper Kush base, while the selected Animal Mints male adds that sweeter, creamier side. The aroma is built around vanilla, sweet notes and Kush, with citrus and earthy tones also coming through. The terpene profile is listed as myrcene, pinene and caryophyllene.
Wedding Cake can be quite forceful on the smoke, with a harsher edge at first before the earthy, soil-like undertones settle in. When held in the mouth, the vanilla flavour is more obvious, with a subtle creamy feel that explains the cake-style name. Low-temperature vaporising is a good way to pick out the sweeter vanilla and cream notes without flattening them into a rougher hit.
The effect starts with an upbeat, euphoric buzz before dropping into a sedative, full-body relaxation. Pure Instinto describes it as potent, relaxing and not suitable for beginners. That warning makes sense with the stated THC range: this isn’t the kind of variety to choose if you want something light or gentle.
In the grow room, Wedding Cake has a short, sturdy, indica-leaning structure with strong branching and good vegetative vigour. It can double in size as it moves into the productive phase, so it still needs room to develop even though the finished height is described as medium-sized. Flowering time is 50–60 days.
Yields are listed at 400–450 g/m² indoors and 550–650 g per plant outdoors. The plants form dense, resin-covered flowers that can feel weighty in the hand, with forest green colouring that may darken as purple undertones develop. Its stout shape can suit Sea of Green work, especially where growers want to shorten the vegetative stage while keeping production on track.
The dense foliage is worth watching. As leaves and buds build up, trapped moisture in the tighter areas can raise the risk of mould or mildew, so airflow and humidity control matter more than they would with a looser-flowered plant. Handled well, Wedding Cake is a resinous, hard-hitting indica-dominant choice with a clear vanilla Kush profile and a serious relaxing end point.
