The 2019

The 2019 is built from Galileo x Arava Landrace genetics, with Royal Queen Seeds using a four-year breeding programme to self those lines into stable inbred parents. That gives it a slightly different feel from a simple modern polyhybrid: there’s landrace character in the background, but the aim here is uniform growth, vigour and a more predictable plant.

It’s available as feminised seeds and is a photoperiod variety with a 65% sativa and 35% indica balance. The breeder lists THC at up to 25% with low CBD, so this is better suited to experienced users who want a strong, clear effect rather than something mild.

Indoors, The 2019 stays fairly manageable at around 80–120 cm and flowers in 60–65 days, roughly 9–10 weeks. Under optimal conditions, indoor yields are listed at 600–700 g/m². Outdoors it can reach 140–180 cm, with harvests of 650–750 g per plant expected around late October.

The flavour is led by bright citrus and a sharper sour-fruit edge, with herbal notes underneath. Limonene is highlighted in the profile, while β-caryophyllene and humulene add some depth; pinene and myrcene bring a fresher, softer finish. It’s not just sweet fruit, which is useful if you prefer a bit of bite in the aroma and inhale.
