Description
Apple Wreck is a flavour-led, slightly indica-dominant photoperiod from Top Shelf Elite Seeds, available as feminised seeds. Its named parentage is Apple Fritter x Black Apple Hitchcock x Trainwreck, giving it a mix of sweet apple character, darker fruit notes and the more energetic Trainwreck side.
The aroma is more detailed than a simple apple strain. Expect crisp green apple first, then spiced berries, citrus zest and earthy pine. On the exhale it turns smooth and a little creamy, with a subtle diesel finish. THC is listed at 23–25%, so Apple Wreck has enough strength to suit experienced smokers looking for a balanced effect rather than something flat or one-dimensional.
In the grow room, Apple Wreck forms a solid medium-height plant with a strong central cola and well-spaced side branches. Top Shelf Elite Seeds notes that it responds well to topping, SCROG and LST, which gives growers a few sensible options for shaping the canopy. Indoor flowering is around 65 days, with indoor yields of approximately 450–500 g/m².
Outdoors, Apple Wreck is listed for harvest in early October, with yields around 550–600 g per plant. The buds are dense and resin-heavy, with a thick trichome coating. As flowering moves on, the foliage can show deep purples and dark blues, especially when cooler night temperatures help bring out the colour. Olive green flowers and bright orange pistils give it strong jar appeal without needing much explanation.
This is a good pick if you want modern dessert-style flavour with a bit more bite: apple and cream up front, darker fruit and pine behind it, and a diesel edge at the end.
