Description
ICC X Grape Sunshine is a modern dessert-and-fruit cross from Common Wealth Seed Co, available here as feminised seeds. It pairs Ice Cream Cake x Grape Sunshine, with the Grape Sunshine side made from Secret Lemon (Lemon Peel x Moonbow) x Tallymon (Banana OG x Dosidos) x Papaya.
The Ice Cream Cake used here has a bit of story behind it. Ice Cream Cake itself comes from Gelato #41 x Wedding Cake and was originally bred by Seed Junky Genetics. This particular cut was hunted from seed and is noted as being different from the typical Ice Cream Cake that became so popular in the USA. It leans towards the Wedding Cake side of the family, but brings stronger purple colouration, good productivity and an easy-going grow style.
Grape Sunshine adds a brighter fruit side to that creamy base. Common Wealth Seed Co notes that it was first called Secret Lemon Tallymon before the Grape Sunshine name was used, which makes sense once you look at the parentage: lemon, Moonbow, banana, Dosidos and papaya all feeding into the line. In this cross, the expected flavour is creamy grape with a citrus spark, more dessert-like than sharp, with a smooth lingering finish.
This is listed as an indica/sativa hybrid with high THC. The effect is described as relaxed and uplifting, with a comfortable body feel alongside a more sociable, brighter mental edge. It’s not presented as a couch-only strain; the appeal is the mix of calm, indulgent weight and a little lift.
In the grow room, ICC X Grape Sunshine is pitched as easy to moderate and suitable for indoor, outdoor or greenhouse cultivation. The plant is medium in height with a balanced, grower-friendly structure, and the yield is given as medium to high, with the wider strain profile also marking yield as high. Dense buds with purple hues are part of the attraction, especially for growers who like visual colour as much as flavour.
Common Wealth Seed Co recommends light training and minimal stress rather than heavy-handed work. It’s also described as forgiving, productive and comfortable for less experienced growers, provided the basics are kept steady: a healthy environment, consistent airflow and no overfeeding. That makes it a good fit for growers who want something with boutique-style lineage and colour, but without a fussy reputation.
Choose ICC X Grape Sunshine if you like the Wedding Cake and Gelato side of modern cannabis but want extra grape, citrus and purple expression from the Grape Sunshine parent. It’s a flavour-led release with enough practical grow appeal to be more than just a pretty name.
