Mondo Smash Auto

Mondo Smash Auto is a limited-edition Night Owl Seeds release with a loud mix of resin, cookies, Chem and fruit. It’s available as feminised autoflowering seeds and comes from Cookie Smasher F1 x Creme de la Compton F3, a pairing chosen for flavour, structure and serious resin coverage.

The Cookie Smasher side is important here. Cookie Smasher itself is Crinkled Cookies F2 x Bruce Banner #3 F3 Auto, and the mother used for Mondo Smash Auto was one of Daz’s favourite recent plants. She brought strawberry-cookie funk, heavy resin across the fan leaves and stems, strong branching and a shape with plenty of bag appeal. Night Owl found those traits carried better when Cookie Smasher was used unreversed as the mother, so Creme de la Compton was selected as the pollen donor.

Creme de la Compton adds a stranger edge. It comes from Creme de la Chem x Wilson! F1 and was linked to Night Owl’s forced collaboration with Masonic Smoker. During the revival, the chosen plant came from an initial pool of 24 candidates. It had the line’s large, structured, branch-heavy look with weighty colas, but also an extra note in the aroma: a black liquorice-like funk that stood out sharply from the rest.

In Mondo Smash Auto, the terp profile falls between Chem and strawberries, with intense orange cookie notes layered through it. It’s not just a soft dessert profile. The strawberry-cookie funk from Cookie Smasher, the Chem base and that darker Compton twist give it more bite and depth. Night Owl also highlights its thick, tasty resin and strong potential for both flower and extracts.

Plants can be grown indoors or outdoors and finish in around 75–85 days from sprout. Expect vigorous growth, with the Compton influence bringing larger, structured plants, plenty of branching and heavy cola development. Yield is listed at around 2–4 ounces, with much of the visual pull coming from the resin-heavy Cookie Smasher mother.

The effect is described as a heavy hitter with a loose, laughter-prone side. It’s better matched to low-key moments that don’t call for much mental effort. If you like Night Owl autos with strong resin, odd funk and layered cookie-Chem flavour rather than a simple sweet profile, Mondo Smash Auto is the sort of limited cross that makes sense.
