91 Bananas Auto is Night Owl Seeds’ banana-soaked Chem cross, now available as feminised autoflowering seeds. It pairs Chem 91 Auto F3 with a Banana OG Auto F3 reversal, with both sides chosen for strong structure, dense flowers and resin-heavy output.

The Chem 91 Auto F3 mother was picked from a hunt of 12 females. Night Owl selected her for the strongest smoke in the group, along with big dense buds, stocky growth, greasy resin and a proper chem funk profile. That gives 91 Bananas Auto a tougher, gassier base than a straight sweet banana line.

The Banana OG Auto F3 reversal used here was a super-indica-dominant selection. Night Owl worked with four different Banana OG Auto F3 reversals for its Banana OG hybrids, matching each one to the mother it suited best. This particular reversal was a little shorter than the others, with larger fan leaves, dense buds, heavy resin, solid structure that did not need staking, and a strong banana aroma. The same reversal was also used for Bruce Bananas, Magician’s Alliance and Sour Banana Burst.

Expect the flavour and aroma to sit firmly between the two parents rather than going simple and sugary. Night Owl describes mouth-coating banana chem funk, gassy banana bread and sweet burnt rubber that lingers on the palate. That burnt-rubber finish is a useful detail if you like fuel and Chem lines, because this isn’t just a soft dessert-style banana strain.

91 Bananas Auto is listed for indoor or outdoor cultivation, with a lifecycle of around 75–85 days from sprout. The breeder gives a yield of 2–4 ounces. Plant-wise, the notes point towards a stocky, solid structure and very dense buds, with plenty of resin coming from both sides of the cross.
