Auto Banana Purple

Auto Banana Purple from Paradise Seeds is a colourful, indica-dominant auto built from Purple Kush x Skunk Auto x GG4. It is available as feminised autoflowering seeds and carries a 60% indica, 40% sativa balance, with THC listed at 23–24%.

The parent choices are a big part of what makes this one stand out. Paradise selected a sweet Purple Kush phenotype for its bouquet and euphoric, relaxing character. Skunk Auto adds resilience and extra sweet notes, while GG4 brings more potency and resin to the mix. Paradise describes it as one of the stronger autos in its library.

Expect sweet, citric aromas with a juicy ripe-orange edge, tropical fruit tones and the ripe banana note that gives the strain its name. There is also a skunky-sweet side in the profile, so it is not just a soft fruit strain. The buds can look the part too, with orange pistils and frosty flowers that may blush pink and purple. Two phenotypes are noted, one of which produces deeper purple colouring.

In growth, Auto Banana Purple falls into the XL autoflower category while keeping an indica-style shape. It forms a candelabra structure, with tight buds on the central cola and more flowers developing on the lateral branches. Height is listed at under 120 cm, and the limited stretch should make it a straightforward fit for most indoor set-ups.

Paradise does not advise pruning this variety, although topping once during the vegetative phase is recommended if you want to encourage more flower growth on the side branches. Flowering time is 65–70 days. Indoor yields are listed at 400–450 g/m², with outdoor plants producing around 100–125 g per plant.

The effect starts with a euphoric rush before moving into deeper body relaxation. The Skunk Auto side adds a little uplift, while the GG4 influence shows in the weight of the finish. It is well suited to evening use when a more relaxing, end-of-day smoke is the aim.
