Banner Auto takes the Bruce Banner idea and makes it quick, practical and automatic. Seed City Seeds offers it as feminised autoflowering seeds, with genetics listed as (OG Kush × Strawberry Diesel) × Ruderalis. That Ruderalis side gives the age-dependent flowering and shorter seed-to-harvest cycle, while the OG Kush and Strawberry Diesel parentage keeps the fuel, sweetness and sativa lift that made the line popular.

The background is a useful one. The original Bruce Banner was created by Dark Horse Genetics from OG Kush × Strawberry Diesel, with Bruce Banner #3 becoming the best-known selected phenotype from that cross. Banner Auto carries that same named base into an autoflowering format, so it’s aimed at growers who want the Banner flavour and effect profile without relying on seasonal photoperiod changes.

This is a 70% sativa and 30% indica variety, with reported THC levels of 21–26%. The effect is described as creative, energetic and uplifting, with enough physical relaxation from the Kush side to stop it feeling one-dimensional. It’s a good fit if you like a mentally stimulating sativa-style smoke that still has a relaxed finish.

Expect a pungent mix of diesel and earth, softened by sweet strawberry and fruity undertones. The OG Kush side contributes the earthier, fuel-like character and body relaxation, while Strawberry Diesel adds the sweeter berry-diesel aromatics and more energetic sativa qualities. Some plants may lean more compact and gassy, closer to OG Kush, while others can show more stretch and a sweeter Strawberry Diesel nose.

Banner Auto is not one of those tiny, tucked-away autos. It’s described as a vigorous, tall and open sativa-dominant autoflower, reaching up to approximately 1.3 m, with a strong central stem and substantial side branching. The flowers are large, dense, hard and heavily resinous, with very heavy trichome coverage and a frosted, crystalline look.

The full life cycle is around 8–10 weeks from germination to harvest. It can be grown indoors or outdoors, with indoor yields listed at 500–600 g/m² and outdoor plants reaching up to approximately 700 g per plant under optimal conditions. Outdoors, it suits all-season autoflowering cultivation rather than a fixed autumn harvest window, because flowering is triggered by age rather than changing day length.

Warm, sunny conditions are where Banner Auto is said to perform especially well, with a preference for tropical to subtropical climates. It’s also described as hardy and moderately easy to grow, making it approachable for newer growers who still want a bigger, more resinous autoflower with a proper diesel-strawberry profile.
