Description
Planet Sherb from Archive Seeds takes Sunset Sherbet and crosses it with Planet Purple F2 #144, a SherbDosi x Moonbow F2 male. It is available as regular seeds, giving collectors and breeders a male/female line to work with rather than a female-only release.
This isn’t presented as a straight BX1. Archive Seeds chose the Planet Purple F2 #144 male to bring a bit more variation into the progeny, with the aim of producing distinct takes on Sunset Sherbet. That matters here, because Sunset Sherbet is already known as a very commercially appealing variety, and this cross is designed to open up a wider spread of Sherb-influenced expressions.
Plants are described as medium in stature, well branched, and capable of producing medium-length but very fat colas. Resin is a big part of the appeal, with Archive noting that the Planet Purple male lifts the potency and shows its influence clearly in the resin structure.
Expect two broad colour and aroma paths. The purple plants carry more of the Zkittlez-style aroma on that medium, branched frame. The greener plants are said to show a skunkier Dosidos-dominant smell, with intense candied Z notes coming through in the smoke. So the choice is not simply purple versus green; the aromatic split is part of what makes the line interesting.
Planet Sherb suits shoppers who like modern Sherbet-linked genetics, chunky flowers and heavy resin, but who also want some hunt potential rather than a narrow, uniform expression.
