Auto Pineapplegum is the result of crossing Skull Ryder with Pineapplegum. We were looking to increase the crystal production within our range of autos and Pineapplegum added the necessary genetic traits.
Many selections and refinements were made to find the fruitiest, most resinous plants and ensure 100% autoflowering. Auto PineappleGum exhibits vigourous growth right from the start and its indica dominant heritage means she produces squat plants with broad fan leaves. The first flowers will start to appear after around 18 days and will rapidly fill out into dense sticky buds.
This strain takes a little longer than the original SkullRyder strain but the reward is a very sweet smelling plant that oozes with resin and glitters with THC crystals. As one would expect from the name the smoke is sweet and fruity with an exotic tropical aroma.
The effect is classic Indica and will leave you with a severe case of the munchies and no desire to leave the sofa! It does not have the highest THC % but good levels of CBD make this a great strain for medical marijuana patients.
Strain FAQ
What makes short cannabis strains popular?
Short strains, usually around 80cm, are said to be ideal for small spaces due to their compact growth. Indica or autoflowering genetics contribute to their modest size and unique growing properties.
What strains are famous for pineapple flavour?
Pineapple Express, Chunk, and Kush are pineapple stage stars. Each tropical flavour has a unique blend of sweetness and earthy, piney undertones. Like pineapple dessert flavours, each has its unique twist.

How does autoflowering relate to feminised seeds?
Many auto-flowering cultivars are feminised, combining the advantages of both. Auto-flowering plants switch from vegetative to flowering without light adjustments. This, together with the feminised guarantee of female plants, makes things easier and more predictable!

What does hybrid cannabis strain phenotypic variation mean?
Individual plants in a hybrid strain can vary in colour, height, and bud structure. Breeders can improve and stabilise desired traits by selecting certain phenotypes and thereby improve the strain.
Why do Ruderalis strains auto-flower?
Ruderalis' auto-flowering trait evolved to adapt to its native regions' varied lighting patterns, allowing it to finish its lifecycle and reproduce without light.
