Description
Grape Ghost is Common Wealth Seed Co’s meeting point between old-school OG character and newer fruit-led breeding. It is available as feminised seeds and is built from Ghost OG x Grape Sunshine, with Grape Sunshine itself bringing Secret Lemon x Tallymon genetics into the mix.
That parentage gives Grape Ghost a clear split of influences. Ghost OG brings the classic West Coast Kush side: earthy, piney and slightly fuel-like, with a sturdy OG structure behind it. Grape Sunshine adds the sweeter modern edge, with grape, citrus and tropical notes layered over the darker funk. It’s a useful choice if you like OG genetics but want more fruit and resin expression than a straight Kush-style line.
Plants show strong branching and noticeable vertical stretch early in flowering, so indoor growers will want to keep an eye on the canopy rather than letting it run away. The flowers form in dense, resin-rich clusters with strong trichome coverage. Common Wealth Seed Co presents it as suitable for intermediate and experienced cultivators, which feels fair given the stretch and the need for sensible indoor management.
Flowering time is around 8–10 weeks. Grape Ghost can be grown indoors or outdoors and is described as producing medium to high yields when looked after properly. The structure is productive rather than flimsy, with the OG side giving the plant a solid frame for flower development.
The aroma and flavour are the part that should catch most shoppers’ attention. Expect earthy OG, pine and a light fuel note first, then grape, citrus and tropical fruit from the Grape Sunshine side. A later note also describes it as earthy, grape and funky, which fits the darker fruit-and-Kush profile rather than a clean candy grape strain.
Effects are described as relaxing, euphoric and heavy-hitting, with THC noted as high. Grape Ghost should suit collectors and growers interested in feminised OG-based genetics with denser flowers, visible resin production and a more modern grape-citrus twist.
