U.V. Sour

U.V. Sour is a punchy Sour Irene OG x Grape Sunshine cross from Common Wealth Seed Co, made in collaboration with Archive Seedbank. It’s available as feminised seeds and is aimed at customers who like sour, gassy OG character with a clear grape edge rather than a plain fuel profile.

The parentage does a lot of the talking here. Clone-only Sour Irene OG brings the earthy, diesel-heavy OG side, while Grape Sunshine adds purple-skinned grape and candied citrus notes. THC is listed at 22%, with 0.1% CBD.

Plants are described as tall and very stretchy, with medium indoor height if managed well and much more upward reach outdoors. The flowers stack into frosty lime-to-olive colas with bulbous resin heads and a diesel sheen, making U.V. Sour a good fit for extract-focused collectors. Common Wealth Seed Co notes strong melt and fresh-frozen performance from dialled-in grows.

Flowering usually takes 8–10 weeks, with medium-to-high yields indoors or outside. Light training and good airflow are both recommended, which makes sense for a plant with this much stretch and resin production.

The aroma starts with sour gas, OG earth and pepper, then moves into grape and candied citrus. On the palate, expect diesel, grape and a lingering sour pucker rather than a soft sweet finish.

The effect is reported as euphoric and uplifting at first, easing into a more relaxed, grounded calm while keeping a clear head. It’s a flavour-forward, resin-heavy choice with modern vigour and a classic OG bite.
