Description
Jahrassic by Compound Genetics is a sweet, fruit-heavy cross of JAHmagic x Black Amber, with Black Amber being the line previously known as High Fructose Corn Syrup. It’s available as feminised seeds and keeps the focus firmly on bright flavour, good productivity and a manageable photoperiod flowering time.
The profile is loud and easy to recognise: sugary fruit, cereal-style sweetness and a fruity-pebbles feel rather than a plain citrus hit. Compound Genetics lists the terpene notes as Fruity Pebbles, sweet, citrus and hibiscus, and describes the fruit-forward character as carrying through from jar aroma into the smoke.
Most phenotypes lean towards the JAHmagic side in both structure and productivity. Yield is described as high, with dark green flowers forming across the crop and flashes of lilac colour showing in selected phenotypes when conditions bring them out. The colour is a nice extra, but the main draw is still the sweet fruit and cereal profile.
Flowering is given as 8–9 weeks, putting Jahrassic in a fairly handy window for a modern photoperiod cultivar. It can be grown indoors or outdoors, and the breeder also notes that many plants finish around the average-to-early side of that range.
Jahrassic suits growers who like modern dessert-fruit genetics with a clear named lineage, a high-yielding reputation and a bit of visual interest in selected plants.
