Emerald Mountain Legacy

Emerald Triangle Legacy was created with the specific intent to preserve the work and memory of Mack Anderson. You might not have heard that name before but may have hard of his nicknames Mandelbrot or Ras Truth. This legendary cannabis breeder was responsible for bringing the first OG Kush and Sour Diesel clones to Humboldt County. He also developed a large number of his own strains and laid the groundwork for the famous Diesel strains you find all over the world! Known not only for the quality of the genetics he's produced but also for his enthusiasm and energy when it comes to organic farming and sustainable breeding practices, he's thought of as something of a godfather of today's cannabis seed scene.

Mandelbrot is perhaps most famous for creating the Royal Kush strain which he described as an "indica-dominant hybrid of an old school southern Humbolt Purple Kush, the real Sour Diesel and a pre-Soviet Highland Afghani. This strain's quickly became sought after for its deep, cerebral high, pest and disease resistance and wonderful diesel flavours. Unfortunately whilst Mandelbrot has moved on to the great cannabis farm in the sky, his brothers Ben and Bogie are still here making sure that the great genetics he produced are available to the public.

The Emerald Mountain Legacy line consists of around 20 great regular seeds that are split into two main lines. You've got the Emerald Mountain Legacy Line as well as the Mandelbrot's Family Heirlooms Line. The distinction between these two is that there is more variation to be found in the Emerald Mountain Legacy line which comes with a reduced price-point and the Mandelbrot's Family Heirloom line has been refined over generations to reduce variation as much as possible to produce a consistently high quality end result.
