Little Chief is the affectionate nickname given to the boss at Pure Sativa. Little Chief has been speaking to his buddies at the world's top seed companies and has managed to convince some of the guys to work together to create a range of marijuana super strains.
Tangie Ghost Train is the first super strain we are releasing under the Little Chief Collabs brand and as the name suggests it is a hybrid strain derived from a cross of DNA Genetics' multi award-winning sativa, Tangie and Rare Dankness' equally special Ghost Train Haze #1.
When Tangie Ghost Train was grown out in a legal climate we saw exactly what we hoped for: A rapidly flowering, sativa-dominant hybrid with the very best properties of both parent strains. Plants grow very vigorously, almost doubling in height during the flowering cycle. We saw the best results when we used trellis to support the plants. You will not find a better scented hybrid than this; just straight up tangerines from the Tangie side of the breeding backed with notes of fuel from the GTH#1. The buds become liberally coated in silver trichomes with just the tips of the bright orange pistils protruding through the crystalline blanket. Flavours are more of the same: the heavily pronounced flavour of tangerines dominates the palate and then you get the euphoric effects from the Ghost Train Haze#1.
This strain just screams 'Championship Pedigree' - Ghost Train Haze#1 is one of the most potent strains available, so clearly Tangie Ghost Train is a THC-rich variety. These collectable, souvenir seeds are available in EXTREMELY limited numbers from PureSativa in feminized form only. Don't miss your chance to grab a little piece of breeding history with these superb quality cannabis seeds from Little Chief Collabs.
Strain FAQ
Are some hybrids adapted to certain growing conditions?
Yes, certain hybrid strains are designed to thrive in certain temperatures or situations, making them beneficial in difficult conditions. There are many hybrid strains can thrive in poor climates, which is generally a sought after trait.
How do breeders develop orange-flavored strains?
Breeders blend strains like chefs to boost orange flavour. By deliberately breeding plants with strong citrus qualities, they've created strains that smell and taste like an orange grove.
How have strains from various places optimised THC and CBD?
With a progressive approach to cannabis legalisation and research, North America and Canada have developed recreational strains with high THC and medical strains with high CBD. The legal diversity in these regions has spurred substantial breeding programmes to optimise cannabinoid content for varied uses.
Do high-yielding strains reportedly need different nutrients?
Their dietary needs are said to be more demanding than their lower yielding counterparts. A balanced nutritional mix of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and other micronutrients is said to be needed for strong growth and bud formation.
Can 12/12 photoperiod strains produce male flowers under stress?
Yes, the 12/12 timetable might be tricky because some strains may produce male flowers when stressed. A steady hand is said to be required to manage light and climatic conditions to keep the crop seed-free.
