Wizard’s Apprentice F4 Auto is Night Owl Seeds’ resin-soaked OG autoflower project, built from Cheech Wizard (Green Curry OG x Snow Lotus) x Auto Skywalker. It’s available as feminised autoflowering seeds and was developed to bring a standout OG backbone into automatic form for Night Owl’s future breeding work.

The parent choice is a big part of the appeal here. Cheech Wizard brought diesely OG funk, heavy resin and a mouth-coating herbal spiced gas flavour, while Auto Skywalker helped carry the line into autoflowering form. Night Owl reports that the early F1 plants were notably uniform, with traditional OG stretch, golf-ball style buds and pungent, piercing aromas. By the F2 and F3 stages, selection moved towards plants with stronger Cheech Wizard influence, greasier resin, longer flowers, strong flavour and full autoflowering behaviour.

This F4 version is described as vigorous, with a sturdy frame, large early fan leaves and very sticky flowers that feel wet to the touch. It stays fairly manageable, reaching up to 3 feet, so it’s not a towering auto, but it still carries that OG-influenced stretch and flower shape in the background. It can be cultivated indoors, outdoors or in a greenhouse.

Harvest is given as 65–75 days from sprout, with yields around 2–4 ounces. The flowers are coated in long-stemmed trichomes across buds, stems and leaves, and Night Owl highlights Wizard’s Apprentice as a strong candidate for extraction of all methods. The aroma is not subtle: expect lingering funk, diesel-leaning OG notes and that herbal, spiced gas character from the Cheech Wizard side.

The effect is THC dominant and can shift depending on the amount used. Smaller doses are described as enjoyable and functional, adding a lift to ordinary tasks without becoming fully narcotic. Larger doses move much heavier, with a couch-bound, long-lasting body effect while the mind can remain clear enough to know what it wants to say, even if the words don’t quite make it out.
