Description
Poison Cookies is a limited Pro Line release from Original Sensible Seeds, made for customers who like old sativa character with a more modern cookie finish. It is available as feminised seeds and carries a 70% sativa, 30% indica balance.
The parentage is straightforward but interesting: Thai landrace, South Asian sativa and Do Si Dos. That gives Poison Cookies its mix of clear, lively sativa influence and denser dessert-style resin from the Do Si Dos side. Original Sensible Seeds describes it as a special edition bred exclusively for the brand, produced in limited numbers and not intended to be repeated once this run is gone.
THC is listed at 30%, so this is not a mild, background sort of strain. The effect starts with a clean, focused uplift, the kind of high aimed more at mental flow and creative momentum than heavy couchlock. As it settles, the body side comes through in a smoother, controlled way, finishing calm and composed rather than tired or foggy.
The aroma and flavour sit in a nice spot between heritage haze and modern cookies. Expect spiced incense and aromatic haze first, with sweet cookie dough underneath. Bright citrus lifts the profile, while herbal haze and a faint earthy OG note round off the finish. Limonene is given as the dominant terpene, with caryophyllene and myrcene also noted, which fits the citrus, spice and deeper herbal edge.
Plants are described as medium to high in height, with responsive branching and balanced internodal spacing. Indoors, heights are listed at around 110–150 cm, while outdoor plants are given at 150–180 cm. It should suit growers who want sativa-leaning structure without taking on an especially drawn-out flowering cycle.
Flowering time is 60–65 days. Original Sensible Seeds notes that plants respond well to topping or low-stress training indoors, which is useful if you want to shape the canopy rather than simply let the plant run. Indoor yields can reach up to 800 g/m². Greenhouse plants are reported as capable of around 1,200 g per plant, with outdoor results averaging approximately 100 g per plant.
Poison Cookies is best understood as a resinous, sativa-leaning cookie cross with a proper incense streak. The Thai landrace and South Asian sativa background keep it bright and focused, while Do Si Dos adds weight, sweetness and a more contemporary finish.
