Cherry Melt

Cherry Melt is built around terpene punch: sweet cherry dessert notes on one side, bright citrus fizz on the other. Pure Instinto made it from a selected Cherry Cookies Melt pheno crossed with Yuzuza, itself Lemon Storm × Mimosa, giving this modern cultivar a clear flavour identity rather than a vague fruity profile. It is available as feminised seeds.

The aroma starts rich and sweet, with cherry syrup and creamy cookie dough giving it that bakery-style base. The Yuzuza side then cuts through with tropical citrus, orange zest and a slightly sparkling mimosa twist. In the smoke, that contrast carries through smoothly, leaving cherry candy and citrus peel hanging on the palate.

THC is listed at 24–27%, so Cherry Melt is not a lightweight choice, but the effect is described as clear and controlled rather than messy. It begins with a euphoric head buzz, a lift in mood and a bit of positive energy, making it a good fit for social or creative use. As it settles, the body effect becomes softer and calmer, with a gentle melting feel rather than a heavy knockout finish.

In the grow room, Cherry Melt is a medium-sized photoperiod plant with strong lateral branching and dense, resin-heavy colas. It has a vigorous but manageable structure, so it should suit intermediate and experienced growers who want something productive without dealing with an especially awkward frame.

Flowering time is 8–9 weeks. Indoor yields are given at 500–550 g/m², with outdoor plants listed at 600–800 g per plant. Resin production is a major part of the appeal here: thick, sticky and terpene-rich, with Pure Instinto presenting it as a strong option for rosin and hash production.

Cherry Melt will make most sense to shoppers who care about flavour and resin as much as strength.
