Description
Garlic Cookies, also known as GMO Cookies, is Pure Instinto’s take on the heavyweight Chemdawg x Girl Scout Cookies pairing. These are feminised seeds for photoperiod growers, with a clear indica-dominant character and a reputation for dense, resin-heavy flowers.
The parentage is a big part of the appeal here: Girl Scout Cookies Forum cut x Chemdawg. Chemdawg is described by the breeder as one of the fathers of modern cannabis genetics, while Girl Scout Cookies is the widely worked hybrid that became a favourite with geneticists around the world. Garlic Cookies keeps that modern US feel, but with a darker, Kush-led aromatic side.
Pure Instinto lists THC at 26–28%. The effect is reported as strong, starting with a euphoric lift before settling into deep relaxation. With its indica-leaning finish and sedative edge, this is better matched to evening use than a busy daytime mood. The breeder also notes that it can become extremely couch-locking.
The aroma is powerful Kush with fruity touches, backed by floral, spicy and herbal notes. Caryophyllene is the dominant terpene, with limonene and myrcene also listed in the profile, so expect the spice to stand out rather than a simple sweet cookie flavour. The flowers themselves are described as light green, spade-shaped buds with white trichomes and curly orange hairs.
In the grow room, Garlic Cookies forms robust, branched plants with medium-high internodal spacing and a medium-high final size. It is not presented as a massive yielder, but it does put plenty of resin on the flowers and even on secondary leaves. Flowering is given as 55–60 days, or about eight weeks.
Yield is listed at around 400 g/m² indoors and over 600 g per plant outdoors. It can be grown indoors or outdoors, and suits growers who are happier choosing quality, resin and strong indica-style effects over the heaviest possible harvest.
