Kushido

Kushido is the heavier side of Pure Instinto’s Yuzuza work, made from a selected heavy Pure Kush cut crossed with Yuzuza, itself a Lemon Storm × Mimosa line. It’s available as feminised seeds and keeps the focus firmly on kush weight, resin and sharp citrus gas rather than bright, easy-going sweetness.

This is an indica-dominant photoperiod strain with a reported 26–28% THC. The character is strong and direct: a fast cerebral hit comes first, then the body effect settles in with deep, narcotic relaxation. Pure Instinto presents it as one for late evening or night use, when a heavier, slower finish is the point rather than something to fight against.

The flavour is one of Kushido’s clearest selling points. It opens with lemon gas and an acidic, fuel-like edge, then drops into deep earthy kush with herbal spice and a creamy undertone. The smoke is described as thick and long lasting, leaving citrus fuel and earthy spice on the palate. It’s more dense and serious than sweet or playful.

In the grow room, Kushido follows a compact indica-dominant structure and produces dense, heavy buds with strong resin coverage. Flowering time is around 8 weeks, which keeps it reasonably quick for growers who want a kush-led plant without a drawn-out finish. Size is described as medium and manageable, with suitability for indoor setups and a good response to basic training if needed.

Yield figures are solid too: 450–550 g/m² indoors and 600–700 g per plant outdoors. The high resin production and sticky, terp-rich finish also make Kushido a good candidate for hash and rosin, especially where the aim is a heavier kush-driven extract profile.
