Diesel Automatic offers the well-known and much-loved taste and aroma of New York City Diesel, while boasting quicker harvests thanks to the autoflowering genetics gained from its Lowryder #2 parent. Like all the newer autoflowering hybrids, it has an improved yield and better flavour compared to many of the original autoflowering strains.
This powerful, automatic Diesel hybrid can go from 0 to 60+ grams in only 60 days. Combining sativa, indica, and ruderalis genetics, this cultivar is one of the most well-rounded and easy-to-grow strains available. Lovers of the original New York City Diesel (NYCD) will be particularly pleased with the clean and clear high retained in this new autoflowering version.
This is a fast and resilient strain that takes around 13–14 weeks to finish the whole growth cycle. This means it can be grown almost anywhere, and is ideal for small tents, cupboards, or guerrilla grows outdoors. It normally reaches a height of around 50–70cm indoors, but can grow taller if given the space or grown outdoors. Grown under good conditions, cultivators can crop up to 375g/m² of Diesel Automatic buds indoors and up to 110g/plant outdoors.
Diesel Automatic has a strong odor, so please keep this in mind if growing under more discreet conditions. Its flavor is mainly the chemical, fuel-like diesel taste, but not quite as overpowering. There is also a slight citrus and fruity aroma in the buds to even out the flavor profile. If you like New York City Diesel but don’t have the time, space, or ability to grow it—then Diesel Automatic is the perfect strain for you.

Can short cannabis strains still be high yielding?
Surprisingly, yes! Due to the wonders of breeding there are a large range of high yielding short strains available and more are being released every day!
Were Sativa strains ever used for anything other than getting high or medicine?
Sativas' capabilities go beyond just these two things. Their strong fibres have been used to make ropes, clothes, and paper. This shows just how varied and valuable the cannabis plant has been even before its more modern uses.
Which terpenes give cannabis its chem-like taste?
Terpenes such caryophyllene, with its spicy, peppery overtones; myrcene, with its earthy, chem-like delicacy; limonene, which intensifies the sharp, pungent qualities; and humulene, with its crisp, hop-like edge, give these strains their chemical taste. Chem flavour is nuanced and unique due to these terpenes.
What distinguishes Diesel strains' scent and flavour?
Combine the raw, strong smell of diesel gasoline with pleasant citrus and peppery spice. Due to their rich terpenes, Diesel strains are said to offer a unique sensory experience. Limonene and caryophyllene dominate, creating a powerful, distinctive aroma and flavour.

Traditional cannabis cultivation and use in Central America and the Caribbean dates back centuries. This long tradition has produced genetically pure, local-adapted landrace strains. Many current popular hybrids are in fact based on these landraces.
