Joanne's CBD interfaces with your body’s endocannabinoid system without getting you baked in the process. Invigorating citrus notes only add to the soothing experience.
She’s a productive polyhybrid featuring a perfect balance of 25% indica genetics and 75% sativa. The strain received her cannabinoid profile from parent strains Juanita la Lagrimosa and Session. As a descendant of Juanita, Joanne’s CBD belongs to a longstanding lineage of CBD legends.
Juanita la Lagrimosa is believed to be the first strain ever to reach a CBD content of 15%. The variety has scooped up numerous High Times Cannabis Cup awards for her effects and low THC content. Although she offers an attractive cannabinoid profile, she often lacks in size and productivity. Our breeders addressed this drawback by infusing some much-needed Session genetics into the mix. This towering hybrid offers a massive yield and descends from the high-CBD cultivar Kalijah.
After a period of hybridisation and stabilisation, Joanne’s CBD was born. Our breeders successfully merged the cannabinoid profile of Juanita la Lagrimosa with the size and production potential of Session. Now, growers can harvest an abundance of CBD-rich flowers from a single plant.
Joanne’s CBD produces between 13–18% cannabidiol. A few lungfuls of vapor eases the mind into the present moment and erases unnecessary worries. She makes an excellent smoke before a hot bath or meditation session to tame the sympathetic nervous system.
Joanne’s CBD contains trace levels of THC; approximately 0.25–0.75%.
Release your inner cannabis chef and use these flowers to cook up some delicious edibles.
Joanne’s CBD is relatively easy to manage and can be effectively tamed using low-stress training and pruning techniques. Indoor plants reach a medium height and yield up to 550g/m² after a brief flowering period of 7–8 weeks. Outdoor plants peak at a taller height of 180cm and produce an impressive yield of up to 475/plant. Expect to harvest your bounty in early October.

Strain FAQ
How do low and high THC strains differ legally?
Strains with around THC < 0.3% are considered industrial hemp in a lot of countries. This distinction allows legal production and consumption, under certain conditions and has resulted in an expanding market for CBD products and strains.
How do breeders develop orange-flavored strains?
Breeders blend strains like chefs to boost orange flavour. By deliberately breeding plants with strong citrus qualities, they've created strains that smell and taste like an orange grove.
How does Hawaii's seclusion make its cannabis strains unique?
The seclusion of the Hawaiian islands has produced cannabis strains with distinctive genetic lines, terpene profiles, and cannabinoid ratios. These genetic differences reflect Hawaii's unique climatic conditions, providing flavours and effects that are hard to recreate elsewhere.
Why are low-THC strains reportedly better for some people?
Low-THC strains are quickly gaining popularity in the cannabis world due to their lack of psychoactive effects. As the world gradually increases cannabis legality and the potential benefits of the plant are more researched, we are quickly learning that there is much more to cannabis than the representation we see in old movies. Low THC strains are reportedly providing a way for the potential benefits of cannabis to be felt by a greater number of people.
Why do strains finish at the Beginning of October?
These genetically engineered strains flower earlier to prevent late fall cold and shorter days. Northern legal producers use it to ensure their plants finish their cycle in time to avoid seasonal environmental issues.
