Nova OG

Nova OG is a compact, resin-heavy take on Harlequin × Jack the Ripper, selected around the more potent, indica-dominant side of that pairing. Seed City Seeds offers it as feminised seeds, with a photoperiod flowering cycle and an 80% indica / 20% sativa balance.

The name may suggest OG Kush to some shoppers, but the stated background points elsewhere. This line comes from the same established Harlequin × Jack the Ripper combination known from Pennywise-type genetics, then selected and backcrossed towards a stronger indica expression. Harlequin brings Colombian, Thai, Swiss and Nepalese ancestry, while Jack the Ripper comes from Jack’s Cleaner × Space Queen and adds Jack/Haze-family complexity.

THC is listed at 30–32%, which is the figure that really sets Nova OG apart. The effect is described as happy, hungry and relaxed: mainly calming and physically relaxing, but with a cheerful lift underneath rather than a flat, heavy finish.

In the grow room, Nova OG stays on the manageable side. Blimburn describes the plant as compact, robust, hardy and suitable for beginners, with a substantial main stem and supporting lateral branches. Height is around 1.5 m, and flowering time is 8–9 weeks.
