Lavender #1

Lavender #1 is one of Soma Seeds’ Originals, built around colour, hashy spice and a calm, evening-leaning effect. It’s available as both feminised and regular seeds, which gives collectors a choice between the simpler female-focused route and the traditional regular format.

The genetics are listed as Super Skunk x Big Skunk Korean x Afghani x Hawaiian. Soma frames Lavender as a 3-way cross that pulls together lines with roots linked to Afghanistan, Hawaii, Korea, the U.S. and Europe. The balance is 80% indica and 20% sativa, and that indica weight comes through in its dense flowers, spicy hash character and relaxed finish.

Visually, Lavender #1 is best known for its deep purple colouring. The leaves can become so dark at the tips that they look almost black, giving the plant a striking, old-school ornamental look as it matures. The buds are described as extra dense, with a high calyx-to-leaf ratio that helps make trimming more straightforward.

Flowering time is 9–10 weeks. The stated minimum yield is 30–40 grams. Lavender #1 is not as tall as Haze types, but it can still stretch to a good height if it is given a long vegetative period before flowering. Soma recommends a shorter veg cycle when using sea of green methods to help keep height under control. It can also be grown as a multi-branched plant.

Outdoors, Lavender #1 can do well in most temperate zones, with arid climates especially well suited. Its aroma and flavour are close to Afghani hash: spicy, dense and earthy rather than bright or fruity. The effect is described as captivating, relaxed and mellow, making it better suited to an evening or rainy-day mood than a busy daytime session. Soma notes that it may become sleepy for some users.

Choose Lavender #1 if you like classic indica-heavy genetics with dramatic purple colour and a proper hash-shop smell. It has enough height and branch potential to need a little planning, but the appeal is very clear: dark flowers, dense buds and a soft, winding-down effect.
