Lavnesia pairs Amnesia Haze x Lavender #1, putting one of Soma Seeds’ more sativa-leaning lines together with one of its more indica lines. It’s available as feminised seeds and was launched in 2020 as part of the Soma Seeds Originals range.

The story behind the cross is quite simple: a friend in California had made something similar, but exchanging the genetics wasn’t practical, so Soma Seeds created its own version in Amsterdam. The mix is listed as 60% sativa and 40% indica, which fits the breeder’s description of a balanced head-and-body buzz rather than a one-sided effect.

In the grow room, Lavnesia is described as easy to grow, with plants reaching a medium to tall size. Flowering time is 9–10 weeks, and the listed minimum yield is 40–50 grams. It’s not presented as a tiny plant, so shoppers after something very compact may want to keep that medium-to-tall structure in mind.

Soma Seeds highlights Lavnesia for its strong terpene profile, high THC and large trichomes. Those big resin glands and pronounced terps are also why the breeder points it out as a good choice for making water hash or rosin.
