Description
Somango Pineapple from Soma Seeds is built around a simple but tasty cross: Somango x Lavender #1. It’s available as feminised seeds and carries an 80% indica, 20% sativa balance, so the appeal is very much on the fruity, resinous, body-heavy side of things.
The flavour is the bit that stands out first. Expect ripe mango and banana notes, with a sugary, tangy edge and an earthy twist rather than plain sweet fruit. The aroma follows a similar line, with that mango-like character backed up by a more grounded, earthy finish.
Plants are described as small and bushy, with dense buds and a thick trichome covering. That resin production makes Somango Pineapple a good fit for hash-minded growers, and its structure suits a Sea of Green setup. Flowering is listed at 9–10 weeks, with a minimum yield of 35–40 grams.
It can be grown indoors or outdoors and is noted for coping with colder night temperatures. The dense flower formation does come with one practical warning: heavy rain can be a problem, so outdoor growers in wetter spots will want to bear that in mind. Soma Seeds also recommends regular trimming during flowering and heavier CalMag feeding for best results.
The effect is described as a heavy body high with a strong hunger effect. Paired with the mango, banana, tang and earthy notes, Somango Pineapple is best suited to shoppers after a compact indica-dominant variety with proper resin and a rich fruit profile.
