Description
Permanent Marker TRIPLOID is TerpFarmz Seeds’ resin-heavy take on modern West Coast dessert genetics, made with an elite Permanent Marker cut crossed to a triploid dessert selection that remains undisclosed. It’s available as feminised seeds and sits firmly in the loud, high-THC, extract-friendly end of the catalogue.
The flavour is the first thing to notice. Expect sherbet candy, grape gelato and sour marker funk, with thicker fuel underneath and a creamy, almost incense-like note behind it. The exhale is sweet and tangy, then settles into a lingering, mouth-coating gas. It’s not a quiet profile, and the “marker” side is a real part of the appeal rather than just a name on the packet.
TerpFarmz lists THC at around 28–32%+, with almost no CBD, so this is a strong one by any sensible measure. The effect is described as fast to arrive, starting with a rush behind the eyes and across the cheeks before dropping into a heavy, long-lasting body stone. Lighter use may keep it more creative and chatty, but heavier hits can turn sleepy and couch-bound quite quickly.
Resin, structure and yield
This triploid version was bred with resin, structure, yield and the signature marker funk in mind. Plants build chunky, golf-ball style flowers that can join up into heavy spears late in bloom, with deep purples, neon greens and a wet-looking layer of trichomes. The resin is described as greasy and terp-rich, making Permanent Marker TRIPLOID a clear fit for rosin, hash and full-melt projects as well as showy jars.
Indoors, flowering is around 8–9 weeks. Outdoor and greenhouse plants are expected to finish from late September to early October in suitable climates. Indoor yields are listed at around 650–780 g/m², while outdoor plants can reach 900–1200 g per plant in ideal conditions.
The structure is compact and bushy, with a strong central stem, thick laterals, short internodes and dense colas. Indoor height is around 80–115 cm, while outdoor plants can reach 150–210 cm depending on veg time and training. It responds well to topping, SCROG and light defoliation, and TerpFarmz notes that it can handle high EC and aggressive light when properly dialled in.
Permanent Marker TRIPLOID suits indoor rooms, high-light greenhouses and warm, drier outdoor spots with good airflow. It’s aimed more at intermediate growers and up, mainly because the dense flowers, heavy resin and strong feeding potential reward a well-managed environment, support and nutrition.
