Black Tuna Seeds embarked on a breeding project fueled by their admiration for Sour Diesel, aiming to hybridize it with their local strains. The project utilized a notable mother phenotype from Karma Genetics’ Sour D Bx2 for its intense sour and gassy qualities, similar to those used in producing Zinfandel feminized seeds.

Cultivation and Features

Mariguana is a robust producer, yielding significantly more and maturing faster than typical Sour varieties, within 9-10 weeks. It demands advanced cultivation skills, but rewards with distinctive sour lemon incense flavors. The crossbreeding involved their Colombian Gold (Pink Pheno) x Mazar Sharif male, a choice inspired by a Colombian Gold phenotype native to Matitas, Guajira mountains, to pollinate Grape Zkitttlez x Nicole Kush.
