Description
Lemon Cherry Cookies Auto is a compact, high-THC auto from Barney’s Farm Seeds, made by crossing Lemon Cherry Cookies × BF Super Auto #1. It keeps the bright fruit, resin and colour people look for in the Cookies side, then adds the easier timing of an autoflowering plant with no photoperiod management.
These are feminised autoflowering seeds with a 70% indica and 30% sativa balance. THC is listed at 28%, so potency is one of the main points here, alongside the lemon-cherry profile and short seed-to-harvest cycle.
Lemon, cherry and a heavier edge
The aroma starts with sharp lemon citrus, then ripe cherry comes in with more warmth and sweetness. Earthy and floral notes sit underneath, with a pungent edge that gives it more weight than a simple sweet-fruit auto. Barney’s Farm describes the aroma as one that fills a room and lingers after the buds have been put away.
The flavour follows a clear sequence. Lemon arrives first, berry and cherry add sweetness through the middle, and the exhale brings earthy and woody notes for a smoother finish. For growers wanting to keep those terpene notes in the finished flower, Barney’s Farm recommends a slow cure in glass jars for at least two weeks, opening the jars daily to release moisture, then storing the cured buds away from heat, light and humidity.
Compact, resinous and colourful
Lemon Cherry Cookies Auto is described as a compact, well-structured plant with dense lateral branching. It builds a canopy of tightly packed, resinous flowers rather than stretching wildly, which makes it a practical choice for many indoor spaces. As it matures, colours can move from rich green into deep purple, set off by vivid orange pistils and a thick trichome coating.
The full cycle is 65–75 days from seed to harvest. Indoors, plants are expected to reach 80–110 cm and can yield 500–600 g/m². Outdoors, they can grow to 100–120 cm and produce 130–220 g per plant, with back-to-back cycles possible in warmer months.
Its growth is presented as fairly straightforward, with natural vigour and balanced nutrient needs. Topping or gentle bending can be used to encourage an even canopy and larger bud sites, while increased phosphorus and potassium during flowering supports bloom development. As the resin-heavy buds fill out, good airflow matters. Barney’s Farm also recommends keeping humidity below 50% in late flowering to help protect the dense flowers from mould.
The effects are listed as creative, euphoric, happy, calming and uplifted. The sativa side gives the early part a brighter, more active feel, while the indica influence brings a calmer finish without being described as cloudy or flat. With 28% THC, Lemon Cherry Cookies Auto is best treated as a potent fruity auto rather than a mild daytime novelty.
This variety will suit growers who want strong lemon and cherry character, a compact frame, colourful late-flower looks and a quick 65–75 day turnaround. It has the convenience of an auto schedule, but still aims for the flavour, resin and strength associated with modern Cookies-style genetics.
