Papaya Sour Spritz

Papaya Sour Spritz is a Green House Seeds cross of Air Lemon x Papaya, available as feminised seeds. It was bred as the final release in a three-part series using Air Lemon as a donor, chosen for its high potency and deep lemon gas fragrance, then paired here with a fruit-heavy Papaya line.

The balance is listed as 60% indica, though the plant keeps a noticeable sativa touch from the Air Lemon side. Green House Seeds gives headline cannabinoid figures of 26% THC, 0.12% CBD and 1.3% CBN.

The flavour is the bit that really sets it apart. Papaya leads with an intense tropical sweetness and an almost oily feel on the palate during both inhale and exhale. After that comes the sharper sweet lemon gas from Air Lemon, with a little earthy note on the way out. It’s a long-lasting cocktail-style profile rather than a quick burst of generic fruit.

Effects are described as fast to arrive, starting in the head with an uplifting buzz before easing into a long-lasting, gentle body high. The mood is often light and giggly, and Green House Seeds presents it as a rounded effect suited to use through the day.

In the grow room, Papaya Sour Spritz has an indoor flowering time of 8–9 weeks and is described as medium-high yielding. Outdoors, harvest is expected around mid September, with plants averaging 160–250 cm and yields listed at up to 1500 g per plant.

Structurally, it grows with Air Lemon vigour but doesn’t get excessively tall. Expect a bushy plant with some stretch, big frosty tops on the branches, tight compact flowers and a low leaf-to-flower ratio. Light foxtailing can appear, along with swollen calyxes and sharp-edged leaves reminiscent of Air Lemon.

The Papaya side can bring attractive colouring, and Green House Seeds notes that colour may even show in the trichomes. Anthocyanin production in the resin can potentially lead to red-toned extracts. For growers drawn to sticky, pungent flowers with tropical fruit, lemon gas and chunky structure, Papaya Sour Spritz has a clear identity without needing much dressing up.
