Description
Unicorn Wagyu is a loud, exotic-looking cross of Unicorn Piss x Wagyu, bred by Growers Choice for heavy resin, unusual terpene depth and strong bag appeal. It’s available as feminised seeds and carries a balanced 50% indica and 50% sativa profile, so the appeal is as much about its flavour and effect as its appearance.
The breeder gives Unicorn Wagyu a THC level of 27–30%, with low CBD. That fits the way it’s described: quick to arrive, euphoric and quite intense, with a bright head rush before a warmer body relaxation settles in. It’s framed more as a late afternoon or evening smoke, suited to music, conversation, creative time or switching off with a film. Newer or lower-tolerance users should treat it with care.
The terp profile is the main reason many people will look twice at this one. Expect loud fuel and deep funk first, backed by overripe fruit, dark berries and candy sweetness. There’s also a grape and tropical fruit top note over a savoury, earthy base, giving it more depth than a simple sweet gas strain. On the exhale it stays dense and layered, with sweet candy and fuel notes that linger on the palate.
In the grow room, Unicorn Wagyu stays manageable indoors, usually around 80–120 cm, with strong branching and thick, stacked colas. Outdoors it can reach about 180–220 cm. The flowers are described as dense and very resinous, with deep green, purple and near-black highlights under a heavy coat of trichomes. Under good lighting, this is very much a photo-friendly, frosty jar strain.
Indoor flowering time is around 9 weeks. Growers Choice lists indoor yields at 550–650 g/m², while outdoor plants can produce around 600–750 g per plant, with harvest falling in mid to late October. Mold resistance is listed as average, and the variety can take both warm and cold climates.
Unicorn Wagyu suits collectors and growers after something with a stranger terp profile than the usual fruit-and-gas mix. It has the frost, colour and potency, but the savoury funk, grape lift and dark berry sweetness are what make it stand apart.
