Description
Northern Light is one of those names almost every cannabis collector recognises. Kera Seeds offers this version as feminised seeds, keeping the focus on a fast, productive photoperiod line with a sweet, spicy flavour and a classic chilled effect.
Kera lists the parent line simply as Northern Light. The variety has long been used in other crosses and is noted by Kera as part of the background behind many different plants, including modern Nederwiet. That history is a big part of its appeal: it’s familiar, proven and still popular with both newer and more experienced growers.
The balance is given as 50% sativa and 50% indica. Flowering is quick at around 7–8 weeks, with harvest outdoors falling around September to October. Plants can become large, reaching about 150–175 cm indoors and 150–210 cm outdoors. Indoor yields are listed as high, around 600 g/m², while outdoor plants are given at 35–125 g per plant. Kera also rates mould resistance as high and the difficulty level as average.
THC is listed at 18–21%, with CBD at 0–3%. The effect is described as quick to arrive, euphoric, relaxed and physically easing, with a laid-back “chill” feel and a noticeable appetite nudge.
Flavour-wise, Northern Light keeps to an old-school profile: sweet and spicy in the general description, with fruity, citrus and earthy notes also listed. During bloom, Kera describes purple, crystal-coated flowers, which adds a bit of visual appeal to an already well-known line.
