Description
Lions Tooth is a Capulator Seeds cross with a proper sharp edge to it. Available as feminised seeds, it pairs Lion Strength with 1997 Sweet Tooth, giving a mix of citrus bite, Sweet Tooth fruit and the more unusual funk that Capulator describes as lemon and tennis ball.
The parentage is the important bit here. Lion Strength is Super Lemon Haze x MAC, bred by Capulator in his father’s honour. The other side is 1997 Sweet Tooth, with Sweet Tooth made from Sweet Pink Grapefruit x Blueberry. That gives Lions Tooth a clear line back to Haze, MAC, grapefruit and Blueberry genetics rather than a vague citrus profile.
Capulator describes the plants as strong and vigorous, with very good yield potential. The listed height is medium, with a flowering time of 8–10 weeks, and it is suited to both indoor and outdoor cultivation. Yield is given as medium to high, so it should interest growers who want more than just flavour from this kind of cross.
The flavour and aroma are led by sharp lemon, citrus and sweet grapefruit, but the “tennis ball” note is the detail that makes this one stand out. It suggests a sharper, rubbery, slightly chemical edge rather than a simple sweet lemon strain. That MAC influence also brings a small mutant rate, around 5%. Capulator notes that these mutants can still be excellent, in the same sort of way that some OGKB-type plants became prized rather than discarded.
THC is listed as high, at 20–25%. Effects are described as uplifting, potent and long-lasting, with a fast hit. Lions Tooth should suit collectors and growers who like loud citrus genetics but also want something a bit stranger than straight lemon sweetness.
