Description
Safari Boat is a big, pungent cross from Common Wealth Seed Co, made for customers who like their fruit with plenty of savoury funk behind it. It is available as feminised seeds and uses Garlic Boat x Wild Thornberry genetics, giving it a strong mix of GMO-style depth, fuel and ripe strawberry sweetness.
The parentage is a proper part of the appeal here. Garlic Boat is a cross of GMO x Dubble Motorboat x Ice Cream Cake, and Common Wealth describe it as a standout garden plant with very large, chunky flowers. That mother side brings loud earthy flavours and a gassy back end. The pollen donor, Wild Thornberry, is Strawnana x Animal Face Kush Mints, a ripe strawberry-dominant hybrid with notable gas of its own.
Safari Boat keeps that contrast running through the finished line. Expect classic GMO smell and taste, earthy garlic notes, savoury funk and fuel, with the Wild Thornberry side adding a funky strawberry berry edge. The breeder’s own description points towards “dank halitosis berries”, which is a fair warning: this is not a clean, simple fruit profile. It is richer, louder and stranger than that, with the berry side sitting alongside garlic, earth and gas rather than covering them up.
In the grow room or outdoors, Safari Boat is described as vigorous and capable of getting extremely large, much like its Garlic Boat mother. The listed height is medium, but the growth notes make clear that this line can build a sizeable frame with strong branching. Flowers are chunky, dense and resin-rich, with heavy trichome coverage and a frosted finish. Yield is listed as medium to high.
Flowering time is 65–75 days, so it is a little longer-running than some faster hybrids. That extra time is worth noting if you are choosing by schedule, especially indoors. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor cultivation, and the indica/sativa type is given as a mixed hybrid rather than a fixed percentage split.
Safari Boat suits growers who want unusual modern genetics with a loud terpene profile and plenty of resin on the flowers. The main draw is the clash of Garlic Boat’s GMO-heavy earth and gas with Wild Thornberry’s strawberry fuel character, backed by big plant structure and chunky frosted buds.
