Description
Thornberry Thicket is a resin-focused Thornberry line from Common Wealth Seed Co, made for people who like big, fruit-heavy plants with serious washing potential. It is available as feminised seeds and pairs Thornberry Pie x Wild Thornberry, keeping the cross very close to the Thornberry side of the family.
The parentage is a useful bit of the story here. Thornberry Pie is Wedding Pie x Wild Thornberry, with Common Wealth Seed Co bringing in a Wedding Pie cut they valued for its strong washing percentage. Wild Thornberry is Strawnana x Animal Face Kush Mints, described as a ripe strawberry-dominant hybrid with a noticeable gas note. Put together, both sides of Thornberry Thicket are known for heavy resin production and good washing potential.
The aroma is built around sweet grape, mixed berries and ripe fruit, with strawberry and fuel sitting underneath. It is not a shy profile. The Thornberry influence keeps the fruit character clear, while the Wild Thornberry side adds that ripe strawberry and gas edge rather than leaving it as a simple berry strain.
In the grow room, Thornberry Thicket is described as vigorous and capable of getting massive. Yields are listed as medium to high, with the breeder aiming for consistency, large production and commercial garden performance. It can be grown indoors, outdoors or in a greenhouse, and the flowering time is a manageable 60–65 days, also given as around 8.5–9 weeks.
This is a hybrid with an indica/sativa background rather than a narrow, single-note line. Its appeal is fairly direct: large plants, strong resin, fruit-heavy terps and parent lines chosen with washing in mind. Growers after a compact little plant may want to look elsewhere; Thornberry Thicket is more about size, resin and production from a Thornberry-heavy cross.
