So Purple

So Purple is a colourful Soma Seeds Originals release built from SO G Kush x Purple Haze. It’s available as feminised seeds, with an 80% indica and 20% sativa balance, and it keeps a clear link to both sides of its parentage.

The backstory is nicely specific. Soma Seeds describes the cross as coming from friends at a local coffeeshop, who paired their three-way Purple Haze with a SoG Kush. Soma then made a selection from seed and kept the one they found exceptional. That gives So Purple a bit more character than a simple purple novelty strain.

In flower, So Purple is known for large, resin-covered buds and plenty of colour. Outdoors it can become a huge plant, with shades that can run from pink through green to purple. Indoors, flowering is listed at 7–9 weeks, with some phenotypes ready at around 7 weeks. The stated minimum yield is 30–40 grams.

The aroma depends a little on the expression. The pinkish phenotype is described as very berry, while the purple phenotype brings a spicier smell. Across the line, the terpene profile can include blackberries, haze and vanilla, giving it a darker, sweeter edge rather than just a simple “purple” flavour.
